Winter

On the hazel in the garden were these beautiful crystals.
I took some pictures before the sun could melt them.

Creative Jump Start

From the website :
"A group of wonderful, inspiring and creative women from around the globe in the scrapbooking and mixed media fields have joined together for the Creative Jump Start Summit 2012. We are coming together to tell you how we get back into the creative groove and how we get our creative juices flowing. We want to share with you to help you jump start your creativity in 2012."

I just watched the first video and it is great!

After christmas.

It's almost time to put everything back up the attic.
All the lights, the decorations, the tree...
But before  that, I wanted to make some sketches. This is the first:
I wanted to add some color, but I think I will leave it like it is.

We put the tree in front of the door this year, so there is more space for my father. He is in a wheelchair since suffering a stroke, and the room is a bit small.
We put a note on the door, do not enter, but I have walked in a few times, wanting to answer the phone. The tree almost fell twice.

Happy holidays!

Christmas market

I went to the Christmas market today. It was held in the summerhouse of an old merchants house called ‘Ceres’.
I call it a summerhouse, but it’s called ‘airhouse’ in dutch.
It's the only one left in the area, but I couldn't find out what it is.
Anyway, it was beautiful: the building, the decorations.

The tree in the garden is a purple beech, it is more than a century old.
